IT Training Solutions Attends UB Tech 2016

Heather Stratford, CEO of IT Training Solutions (ITTS) will be joining her team at the UB Tech 2016 Conference in Las Vegas June 6-8 to introduce a new, market-centered product line. ITTS has built a reputation for highly regarded onsite and live-remote training since the founding of the company, over ten years ago. Last year they expanded into virtual courses and now offer 125 virtual courses for IT certifications and work force development which can be white labeled for institutions such as universities.

This year ITTS has expanded into end-user security awareness and compliance training. Compliance such as HIPAA, PCI Compliance and Privacy are areas growing in importance. With over 70% of organizations reporting they have been compromised by a cyberattack in the past 12 months and that 90% of breaches are due to human error, essential end-user security awareness is no longer optional for any organization.

ITTS is working to help meet this security awareness need with a modular format system. This online training can be accessed anytime from anywhere and is geared for easy use by employees and end-users. The training typically runs 30-60 minutes and can be customized through interactive content that is specific to an organization’s needs. Administrators can easily monitor the status of workforce compliance and assessments.

Topics addressed could include areas such as: understanding security threats, identifying and detecting malware, phishing detection and awareness, data classification and storage/retention guidelines, cloud computing and storage, mobile device security, social media threats, and many other timely topics.

Specialty compliance topics can also be addressed with this system. Training is available on HIPAA for those dealing directly with patients and their files to those in IT that manage that data. Privacy training, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act compliance and PCI compliance training can all use this system.
