Stronger International has worked closely with local, state, and federal government partners for years. So we are pleased to announce our newly awarded HUBZone Certified Business status. This certification allows us to help our communities and partners even more.
What is HUBZone?
As you know, the HUBZone program helps create jobs and increases capital investment in distressed communities.
HUBZone is the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) program for small companies that operate and employ people in Historically Under-utilized Business Zones (HUBSZones). The HUBZone program was created in response to Congress’s 1998 HUBZone Empowerment Act. Based on that Act, small businesses can be designated as HUBZone Certified if they meet certain criteria. Stronger has endeavored to meet those criteria in order to support job creation and economic development in needed communities.
What Does This Mean for You?
The government holds 3% of its prime contracts for HUBZone Certified entities in order to support historically underutilized business regions and the individuals working there. Stronger is proud to be able to join that mission to expand opportunity and growth for critical areas of our country.
When you find RFPs that have set-asides for qualified HUBZone entities —whether it’s working together or alerting Stronger of an opportunity to better serve our communities— we can provide the qualification needed to be awarded these proposals.
As a company, we believe that working together makes us stronger, better, and more secure. It also empowers us to help make a lasting difference to others and our communities. Stronger values our partner relationships and collaborating with other small businesses. Together we can win bids, help create job opportunities and make our communities stronger.
