Stronger International believes everyone needs to increase their technical knowledge and ability in our highly computerized world. We strongly support all people in receiving and mastering technical training. In some cases, finances hinder a bright person receiving the training they need.
Stronger International awards IT scholarships giving special consideration to applicants who might represent a group of underrepresented minority in the IT world: including but not limited to women, ethnic minorities, and people from underdeveloped countries.
A majority of Stronger student scholarships are awarded to minorities and women. The candidates are selected by the company based upon their eligibility, financial need, passion for technology in the software industry, quality of the application and their commitment towards leadership.
The applicant must be either currently working in the IT world or enrolled in a full-time degree program in an accredited 4-year university or college.
The applicant should be maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0.
The recipient will either receive a partial or a full scholarship to a course offered by Stronger or a cash scholarship to cover expense for their education. The scholarship funds can be used to cover the tuition but not for other costs such as room and board, books and other expenses. Institution Scholarships will be given by need base, between $300 and $10,000 USD.
