Jamison Davis is a board member of Stronger International and the Managing Partner of Davis & Partners, LLC, a global strategic advisory firm that provides counsel to organizations and ultra high net worth individuals in communications strategy and policy, media relations and reputation management Jim has spent a career advising global brands and developing strategies that have generated billions of dollars in revenue for clients such as Citibank, Delta Airlines, IBM, JC Penney, General Motors and Unilever.
Jim founded D&P, originally named Life Ventures, after a highly successful 25-year career. Life Ventures began as a small boutique advisory firm serving clients such as The Walt Disney Company, ESPN, Philips, Sephora, and PepsiCo. Jim and Life co-founder Tom Zawacki’s special expertise grew out of the previous nine years the two spent helping build ModemMedia into one of the most successful global digital communications solution providers in the world. Jim and Tom were instrumental in Modem’s successful IPO in 1999. One of the most anticipated IPOs of that year; ModemMedia was 40x oversubscribed and a peak market cap of over $1 billion dollars.
In 2007, Life Ventures spun off the social commerce software company Lemonade, and its consumer website, lemonade.com, was voted the #1 website of 2007 by Time Magazine as well as being featured on NBC’s Today Show. Life Ventures changed its name to Davis & Partners.
In 2010 D&P continued its global expansion, B21 in Sao Paulo as well as opening Davis|Edwards Entertainment in Los Angeles. D&P also established alliances in the UK and Asia. In late 2010 the company name was changed to Davis & Partners Worldwide to reflect the firm’s growth with clients in major cities around the world.
Jim sits on the boards of Stronger International, Mission Connect, Cognitive, State Street Partners and Rugby Utah Ventures. He also currently serves as a senior M&A advisor to the trans-ocean shipping firm RTM Lines and the advertising technology firm Media Crossing. Jim also maintains a long-term advisory relationship with the multinational consultancy The Green Seed Group.
in 2014 Jim became a founding partner in Rugby Utah Ventures, a for-profit entity dedicated to the monetization of the sport of professional Rugby. Rugby Utah’s Men’s Sevens team won its first national title in 2015 and is an officially recognized Olympic Development Academy and is a charter franchise in the newly formed Major League Rugby professional league comprised of ten teams.
